The secluded wooden
ruins of this greyhound track have been softened by endangered
ground pine. The track is comfortable to walk or jog. The sun
melts through the forest trees and a grape arbor appears as
you turn the corner. Fern, Wintergreen and Merrybells plants
decorate the forest floor. Fire flies, frogs and crickets are
only ones around now but the voices of the greyhounds who once
raced here can be heard coming from within the deep shadows
of the woods. |
- Swimming pool is
open from May through August
- Take a nap, read
a book or visit with guests in the enclosed sun porch.
- Relax in the library and play the piano
- Pool, ping-pong
and foos ball are available in the recreation room between
7:00 pm until 9:00 pm nightly

Surround Sound Home Theatre High Definition 65" wide screen
TV is now available in the central air-conditioned recreation
room at Rock Village. HD cable channels include National
Geographic, MHD, TNT, Discovery, ESPN, ESPN2, UNIVERSAL, NESN,
NHD/FSN, HBO, -2, signature, family, comedy, zone, and Latino.
Other channels include 200-300, as well. |

with naturalist Karen Holmes can be scheduled when
reservations are confirmed.
- Cook fires
allowed with Fire Dept. approval (marshmallows, graham
crackers and chocolate provided)
- Barbecue grill
available with outdoor seating on front or back porches.
- Massage weekends
can be arranged
- Sit by the stream
and pond on the property with many frogs and fireflies.
