• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival for refund of deposit. If the reservation is cancelled 8 to 13 days days prior to scheduled arrival, deposit will be held for a future stay. If reservation is cancelled 7 days or less prior to scheduled arrival, deposit will be forfeited.
• Restrictions: No smoking. Small pets allowed.Children Welcome.
• Breakfast: Continental.
• Special Events at Inn: Roberta is a Massachusetts Justice of the Peace and can perform marriages (3-day waiting period as per state law).
• Recreation & Activities: Walk to local lake for swimming and sunbathing. Also nearby: mountain climbing, golf, and lake activities. Downhill and cross-country skiing in Winter.
• Attractions & Special Events: Tanglewood, Rockwell Museum, Red Lion Inn, July and August craft fairs and festivals, antique shops galore, country charm, walking distance to downtown area with many shops and 53 restaurants, and lakes.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: Castle Street Cafe, Great Barrington, The Old Mill - Main St. and Rt 23 (4 miles west), South Egremont (413) 528-1421; and Pearls - Railroad Street, Great Barrington.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Chesterwood (home of Daniel Chester French, who sculpted the Lincoln memorial) and Shaker Village. The Parry House B&B has been in the family since 1944!
• Directions: Mass. Pike at Exit 2. Take a left onto Route 102 West through Stockbridge. In Stockbridge, turn left onto Route 7 and follow into downtown Great Barrington. South St. is the second right past the town center.
