"We stumbled upon
The Rookwood Inn by chance this time last year. Our return
visit has been even more special. Our hosts Amy & Stephen
took a beautiful Inn and made it unique, with a warmth and
spirit to match their own. Here we have found a cozy room for
two where we can share silent thoughts and quiet moments by
firelight...a place to return and remember with people you can
call friends & the love we brought together make The
Rookwood Inn most special ~ our only regret is that it had to
end..."
Lenox and the Berkshires offer an abundance
of activities throughout the year. Whether you're searching
for culture, outdoor adventure, shopping for antiques or
uniques, sports, sumptuous dining, rest or romance, you'll
find what you're looking for in and around. |
The Inn's unique location is peaceful and
secluded, yet only a block from the town center and about a
mile to Tanglewood. Lenox Village offers appealing boutiques,
antique treasures, art galleries, and splendid restaurants.
You can visit Edith Wharton's home, The Mount, as well as
Chesterwood and the Norman Rockwell Museum.

mountain trials, in summer enjoy the music of the Boston
Symphony at Tanglewood or watch dance at Jacob's Pillow or
enjoy a play at Shakespeare and Company. Golf, skiing,
boating, and tennis are nearby as well. Lenox is a place for
all seasons, equally beautiful and intriguing when the color
of autumn fills the air to the sparkle of winter lights gleam
on glistening snow and the abundance of flowers in the spring
and summer. |
