The town of Lee takes great pride in its continuing history as a working man's town. Here you will find an old-fashioned Main Street in a memory-filled downtown that lists on the National Register of Historic Places.

In a salute to yesteryear, Lee's Main Street is still flanked by an "old-timey" barber shop, a most familiar five-and-dime store, a couple of hardware stores, and all sorts of Mom and Pop shops eager to share the hospitality that has made them so successful throughout the years.

And Lee's natural beauty is just as rich as its well-preserved history. The more scenic attractions include Laurel Lake, the October Mountain State Forest, and the multitude of rolling hills that sculpt Lee's colorful landscape.

Shoppers will think they're in paradise when they visit Lee's famous Prime Outlets mall, a complex that houses 65 stores. And if you can make it to town for the first weekend in October, you'll be delighted by Lee's annual birthday bash. The festive Founders Weekend features a living history presentation, gala parade, and all sorts of musical entertainment and contests.
