water, the inn sits amid on 24 peaceful wooded acres on the
Mount Holyoke Range in beautiful Western Massachusetts. The
wrap-around front porch and many decks and balconies allow
guests the opportunity to truly appreciate the beauty of
nature up close and unspoiled. Enjoy the antics of the
chipmunks or marvel at the grace of a butterfly as it soars
through the flower gardens. Count the wild turkeys that parade
across the back yard. Watch as the deer harvest fruit just as
it's ready to pick.
Ivory Creek offers
six beautiful
guest
accommodations with unique furnishings, sleigh and
four-poster beds, Oriental carpets, and ceiling fans. All
rooms have private baths and fireplaces, and some even boast
private decks or balconies.
Gourmet breakfasts
are served throughout the morning in the spacious dining room
with fireplace, on the plant-filled sun porch, or out on the
back deck, weather permitting. Your bounteous repast may
include such items as Mimi's Puffed French Toast, Fresh Herb
and Garlic Cheese Eggs, Lemon Souffle Pancakes, Hot Cinnamon
Sticky Buns, or Tod's Red Pepper Tomato Surprise. Special
diets can be accommodated upon request. Complimentary snacks
and non-alcoholic drinks are available at all times.

The Metacomet
Monadnock Trail (part of the Appalachian Trail that courses
from Georgia to Maine) runs across the top section of the
property. Hiking and mountain bike trails abound and will
accommodate any skill level. Skinner State Park is within easy
biking distance and affords a spectacular view of the
Connecticut River Valley. Tod will gladly take a load of bikes
and bikers to the top of Mount Holyoke so you can ride
downhill all the way! (Bicycle rentals of all types are
available nearby.) A hot tub awaits those tired muscles when
you return to Ivory Creek after an adventure-filled day.
