The Jonathan Foote 1778 House is conveniently located near
Stockbridge and Lenox in the wonderfully restored town of Lee
in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
A peaceful country setting central to all Berkshires
attractions, the Jonathan Foote B&B is an historic
Georgian farmhouse which welcomes you to step back in time.
An imposing stone hearth complete with beehive oven welcomes
you to the Great Room where you can relax by the fire after a
day of skiing or exploring the surrounding towns and
countryside. Chat with new friends and enjoy some favorite
music. Choose a book from our library and spend the afternoon
reading in a quiet corner on the covered porch , or just sit
and relax while enjoying some homemade cookies.
Accommodations at the bed and breakfast include five light
filled, spacious guest rooms, each with a queen or king four
poster bed, private bath, air conditioning and comfortable
chairs for relaxing in the privacy of your own room. Furnished
with art and antiques that have been collected over the years
by the Innkeepers, amenities such as beautiful quilts, down
pillows and comforters add to the ambiance, Thoughtful touches
such as toiletries, hairdryers, CD players and Wireless
Internet access add to your comfort.
In the morning, enjoy a generous homemade breakfast. Sit
down to seasonal fruits, homemade coffee cakes and muffins,
and delicious entrees such as Dill Havarti Eggs or blueberry
pancakes. Upon request, coffee and tea can be available at
7:00 a.m. for early risers.
Lee has an interesting mix of restaurants and shops, and
for serious shoppers the Prime Outlets are just two minutes
away. Hiking and cross-country ski trails are all close by,
including the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy the winter views and

October Mountain State Forest is just up the street, where
you can hike with llamas as your backpack companions. On the
other side of town is beautiful Laurel Lake Beach, which is
available to guests in the warmer months. Enjoy golf right in
Lee at the Donald Ross designed Greenock Country Club just
five minutes from the B&B.
Most major Berkshires attractions are just minutes away.
Tanglewood, summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra,
major summer theatres, such as the Berkshire Theatre Festival,
Barrington Stage, and Berkshire Opera are close by
