The Beach Rose Inn

Built in 1863 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Beach Rose Inn is tucked away on a quiet lane in the peaceful Cape Cod village of West Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Lovingly restored in the spring of 2002, each room at the New England bed and breakfast has been tastefully decorated in a style of its own. All are adorned with antique furniture and period reproductions, fine linens, colorful quilts, and accent rugs. Special touches include fresh cut flowers and fluffy robes.

Lodging accommodations are located in three buildings -- the Main Inn, the Carriage House, and the Cape Cod Cottage. The eight guest rooms in the Main Inn and Carriage House are all have private baths, several featuring whirlpool tubs. Guestrooms also feature air conditioning, canopied beds, fireplaces and plush robes. The two-bedroom Cape Cod Cottage includes a sitting room with cable TV and a full kitchen.

The Sail Loft, located on the second floor of the Carriage House, is ideal for families or couples traveling together who do not require kitchen or cooking facilities. This suite includes three bedrooms, a sitting room, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee-maker. The two-bedroom Housekeeping Cottage is available as a weekly vacation rental and includes a full kitchen, large sitting room, and attached deck.

Guests begin each morning with the beautifully presented breakfast served in the cheerful gathering room or on the sun porch. Enjoy home-baked breads, fresh fruit, and the innkeepers' select dish of the day.

The Beach Rose Inn's location in West Falmouth makes the Inn a wonderful home base from which to enjoy Cape Cod. Swim at nearby sandy beaches, play golf or tennis, go fishing or cruising, or explore the area by bicycle, on horseback or on foot. Become better acquainted with the sea by spending a day at historic lighthouses, at Woods Hole Aquarium, or whale watching. The area boast several antique shops and boutiques, museums, gardens, and theater. Ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket are nearby for an enjoyable day trip.
