Savory Eggs

I made about six of these for a women's breakfast at church. They ate every last bite, and complained about cholesterol later.

Ingredients:

2 cups grated cheddar cheese

1 cup light cream

1/4 teaspoon pepper

12 eggs, slightly beaten

1/4 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Ground sausage, cooked (my option)

Spread cheese in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Dot with butter. Combine cream, salt, pepper, and mustard; pour 1/2 of mixture over cheese. Pour eggs over all, then add remaining cream mixture. Bake in a slow oven (325 degrees) until set, about 40 minutes.
