The Beech Tree Inn, once a turn-of-the-century, Victorian-style private home, is now a delightful bed and breakfast just minutes from downtown Boston and within walking distance of Boston University and Harvard Medical School. The ten rooms are typical of guest rooms in a family home. Eight have their own baths, and the two with shared bath are provided with thick, fluffy robes. Beech Tree Inn is just a 15-minute trolley ride on the green line's "C" Train to downtown Boston. Within walking distance you will find so much to see in the area, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, John F. Kennedy's birthplace, Longwood Medical and Academic Area, Fenway Park, and Boston University. The route of the annual Boston Marathon, held in April, is only two blocks from the Inn.
