The plantation is furnished with antebellum
family furniture handed down from generation to generation;
one of the plantation suites even has the original Desert
furniture. All four suites feature queen-sized four-poster
beds, private baths, and fireplaces, and one has a Jacuzzi
tub. There are two upstairs guest rooms with a balcony between
them as well as a wet bar, television, refrigerator, and
microwave for your convenience. Families with children and
most pets are welcome.
A full Southern breakfast is served every
morning. Enjoy refreshments on the veranda, a shaded swimming
pool as well as outside grills available for your enjoyment.
Catered picnics and food prepared at the pool are available
with prior arrangement.

the old fort high up on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi
