Angola
Prison Rodeo |
| In
it's 35 year promises to live up to its name. The continually
growing event offers a full day of family fun on the grounds of
the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola in beautiful West
Feliciana Parish. The Prison which is houses approximately 5500
inmates opens its gates every Sunday in October. Inmate Crafts
and Concessions open at 9:00 while the The Rodeo starts at 2:00
p.m. |

Antique
appraisal event---Antiques Roadshow style--- held among the
beautiful rollings hills of St. Francisville, LA. has drawn
hundreds of antiques lovers who come to present their most
treasured antiques for expert scrutiny. Expert appraisers will
be on hand from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., each offering
identification, information and verbal appraisals of all types
of antiques for only $20 appraisal fee per item. Bring that
mysterious family heirloom and discover its origins and value.
