Broiled Grapefruit

Really easy and a hit every time, even with those who don't like grapefruit!

Ingredients

1 large Ruby Red grapefruit

1 to 2 Tablespoons honey

1 to 2 Tablespoons brown sugar

Maraschino cherries

Cut grapefruit in half. Using serrated knife, cut along edge of grapefruit and rind to loosen. Also run knife from center out to rind between sections to also loosen. Place grapefruit halves in baking dish and drizzle top with honey. Next, sprinkle top with brown sugar, adjusting the amount to taste. Place under broiler in oven for 5 to 8 minutes; watch closely as ovens will vary. I recommend the second rack for a slow broil. Grapefruit is done when the edges start to brown/blacken. Place in fruit bowls and top center with cherry. Serve warm.
