Le Torri di Bagnara
is made up of an 11th century luxury Abbey Relais de Charme,
and a 12th century charming stone tower, and lies just in the
center of Umbria. Its excellent geographical location makes it
destination for the many festivals and fairs that take place
in Umbria throughout the year.
The Bagnara Estate
features 5 medieval Castles, 4 small lakes, the river Tiber,
animal growing (Chianina cattle, roe, deer), olives, wheat,
mais and tobacco cultivations, hunting reserve with many kinds
of wild animals. Visitor love to explore, walk or bike the
valley or go berry picking. Hotel guides will lead tours
around the Estate and will tell you the story of the Castles.
"Pieve San
Quirico" is a little Abbey wholly realized with stones,
of the XI century. Its very ancient and for this reason
it appears in all the geographic cards and several times Papa
Leone XIII stayed there around XIX century. The entire
framework is original, the last intervention of adjustment
dates back to XVIII century. |
