Sausage and Egg Casserole
- Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 2 slices bread, cubed (you may up to 4 or more slices)
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped green onions
Brown sausage and drain well. Beat eggs with milk, salt, and mustard. Layer bread cubes in bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Crumble sausage over bread. Add green peppers and onions and top with cheese. Pour egg mixture over all. Refrigerate overnight.
Bake in 350-degree (Fahrenheit) oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
