Grand Deluxe Log Cabins

These units follow the same tradition of excellence as the rest of the grand deluxe suites and cottages. A complete Sony entertainment system with large screen TV, VCR, DVD, DSS, satellite, CD player, tuner, tape player, all with Sony Home Theater surround sound system, is included. The kitchen galley area includes a mini-refrigerator stocked with complimentary beverages as well as a microwave and coffee maker. High Speed Internet access.

Leafland Log Cabin

True to its name, this cabin uses leaf greens, ivory, and some really unique applications of galvanized tin. It is furnished with a double whirlpool tub and custom Franklin stove fireplace. A unique white-washed look on the king-size bed and matching furniture provides a "casual luxury" feel. The galley is large enough for a cozy dinette set.

Timberland Log Cabin
Decorated in a lodge and log cabin style of "rustic luxury" this cabin is equipped with a creative blend of antiques accents. It has a large double whirlpool and custom Franklin stove fireplace. A truly unique solid hickory king-size bed and over-size tufted chairs are perfect for relaxation.

Grand Deluxe Cottages

All Grand Deluxe Cottages offer the latest in electronics, such as the 36-inch large screen TV with Digital Satellite System and VCR/DVD, Kenwood CD player, cassette tape, tuner, and Bose Surround System for the best in viewing and listening enjoyment. Each cottage has a telephone, its own drive and parking and walkway to its screened-in private porch overlooking the Mississippi River, and galley kitchen with microwave, compact refrigerator, coffee maker, and sink. Private baths feature large vanities and mirrors, wall-mounted hair dryers, and magnifying vanity mirrors. High Speed Internet access.

English Country Cottage

Soft hues of green, tan, and gold adorn the interior of over 800 square feet. The custom-designed native slate fireplace and double whirlpool overlooks the Mississippi. The main area offers a king-size bed and dining area near the fireplace. The galley features a custom designed layout of solid cherry cabinetry. The all tiled, spacious bath, features a large multi-headed shower and a sitting area.

Irish Country Cottage
The green color of the Irish knolls celebrates innkeeper Patricia's heritage. A fireplace done in river boulders matching the waterfall shower in the bath provides this cottage with a special feel of the Irish countryside. A king-sized bed is hand-painted with Irish spring flowers. The special decor in the galley is a must-see, and that's no "blarney".

Grand Deluxe Suites

These suites each enjoy an oversized whirlpool placed on a raised ceramic tiled pedestal area from which you can view the Mississippi. Amenities include a fireplace, telephone, and a complete entertainment center including Kenwood Stereo CD player, cassette, tuner, TV/VCR/DVD, and DSS Digital Satellite TV, all with remote control. There is also a full galley with microwave, galley bar sink, compact refrigerator with complimentary beverages, and a coffee maker. High Speed Internet access.

Mississippi Suite

This is truly one of the most deluxe suites in Northwestern Illinois with a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. The suite is equipped with a large fireplace with natural limestone hearth, a king-size bed, and large sitting area. A spacious full bath has a tub and shower combination. This suite has quickly become quite popular with our honeymoon and anniversary guests.

Covington Suite
The decor is in the English country Manor tradition with raised panel effect on the walls and dimmable wall sconce lighting. The hunt colors of maroon, navy, and hunter green are used throughout. The suite has a custom-made full canopied king-size bed. A tiled full bath located off the sitting area, with a tub/shower combination, completes this truly beautiful suite.

Gwenivere Suite
This Grand Deluxe suite decorated in the soft tones of gold, offers a private screened in porch overlooking the timbered countryside, and also a great view of the Mississippi River from the private breakfast dining area.

First Lady's Suite
This second-floor suite has an excellent view of the grounds from the deck. The suite is decorated in blue and maroon Waverly fabric with a king-size oak four-poster bed and matching oak furniture. A large oak mantled fireplace, Austrian swag curtains, and large tufted wingback chairs offer even more comfort and convenience. The full private bath features his and hers vanities and a tub/shower combination.

English Garden Suite
Located on the ground floor, this large suite overlooks the lawn and rose garden area. It has a king-size bed, telephone, and large sitting area. Its full bath has a shower/tub combination. A breakfast nook gives you a chance to have breakfast delivered to you by request. A blend of pastel and hunter green provides an eye-pleasing transition to the beautiful fireplace with natural limestone hearth.

Veranda Suite
