• Payment: Full payment by check, money order, gift certificate, or credit card is due 14 days prior to your reservation date. If the reservation is made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival, full payment is due by credit card if the transaction occurs on the telephone or by check, money order, gift certificate, or credit card if the transaction occurs in person.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received before 3:00 p.m. 14 days prior to schedule arrival date for a refund. A $50.00 service fee may apply to cancellations. If a 14-day notice is not given, room payment will be charged. A cancellation number will be issued on all cancellations and should be referred to in future correspondence to this cancellation. With less than 14 days' notice, The Goldmoor will issue a gift certificate for the full amount of that stay to be used at any later time up to one (1) year from date of purchase, by the guest, subject to availability. Gift certificates are allowed one cancellation or change of date without penalty. When reserving 3 or more rooms, a 30-day notice of cancellation is required. In case of a severe winter storm, it may be permissible to cancel a room reservation with less than 14 days' advance notice as determined by The Goldmoor management. A gift certificate will be issued and may be used at your convenience subject to availability (expires 1 year from date of issue).
• Check-in: 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Please notify us if you will be arriving after 6:00 p.m. Arrivals after 9:00 p.m. by special arrangement only; please call for details. Check-out: 11:30 a.m.
• Restrictions: No pipes or cigars are permitted at The Goldmoor. We would appreciate you from refraining from cigarette smoking in our public areas. Smoking is permitted on the grounds and in designated areas. The Goldmoor is flexible about children; please inquire. Pets are allowed in limited accommodations and must have a crate or kennel. Innkeeper must be notified at time of reservation.
• Breakfast: Full gourmet served between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
• Lunch and/or Dinner: Goldmoor Fine Dining facility now open, serving a seven course gourmet dinner.

• Directions: From Galena: Take Highway 20 East from Main Street to Fourth Street/ Blackjack Road. Turn south (right) on Blackjack Road. Stay to the left and remain on Blackjack Road for six miles to Sand Hill Road. Sand Hill will be veering off to the right. Go on Sand Hill Road 1/2 mile to the Goldmoor entrance on the left. From the east or Chicago area: Take U.S. Highway 20 towards Galena and then turn south (left) on Blackjack Road/ Fourth Street. Blackjack Road meets Highway 20 before reaching Main Street in Galena.
