• Payment: All reservations are confirmed with a deposit equal to 100% of your stay payable by Visa/Master Card. All changes will incur a $20.00 service fee.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date. to receive a full refund. Cancellations received 29 to 15 days prior to the arrival date will receive a 50% refund less a $25 re-booking fee. All other cancellations, NO SHOWS, and early departures will be charged the entire amount of stay without exceptions. All cancellations must be received, using the forms provided on the website, via email at guesthouse@stayvolcano.com or stay@alohaplace.com or by FAX (808) 985-9239. Phone messages will NOT be accepted. Failure to provide proper notice will possibly incur additional charges.
• Restrictions: No smoking. No shoes inside the house, it is asked as a courtesy from all house guests to please remove your shoes before entering the "hale" (home) as it is an island custom and a matter of respect.

  From Kona: Travel from Kona on Highway #11 to Volcano; 3-4 hours driving time. After the 27 mile marker turn left onto Pearl Avenue and proceed a short distance to the stop sign and then turn right onto Old Volcano Road and proceed to the dead end.
