Penny's Place Inn Paradise is located on
world-famous Front Street in Historic Old Lahaina Town on the
island of Maui in Hawaii. Just 50 feet from the waters edge,
the bed and breakfast inn offers ocean views of Lana'i,
Moloka'i, and the leeward beaches of Lahaina.
Penny's Place Inn Paradise has four
elegantly furnished guest rooms on the second level, including
a romantic honeymoon suite. All lodging accommodations have a
private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable
television, telephone, and direct access to the 8 x 42-foot
balcony and turret. Three of the rooms have queen beds, while
one room has a twin-sized day bed with trundle.
Both the balcony and Victorian turret are
filled with island wicker furniture in which you can lounge,
read, take a nap or watch the sunset. All guests have access
to a common kitchenette on the balcony with toaster,
refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ice machine, and all
the basics for an early breakfast or snack. Convenient laundry
facilities and a library with books about the history,
culture, and customs of the Hawaiian Islands add to the
amenities. Guests staying at least three days will find a
complimentary hand-woven gift basket filled with Hawaiian
goodies on their arrival.
As the sun rises over the pineapple fields,
you can enjoy a buffet breakfast served in the first level
turret. The "ono grinds," as the locals would say,
include a selection of fresh island fruits, Kona coffee, teas,
juices, pastries, breads, island jams, and cereals. Breakfast
can be delivered to your room if you prefer.
Beach fun, water sports and other
activities that have made Hawaii such a world-renowned
destination await you. Go snorkeling, diving, surfing, or
deep-sea fishing. If something a bit more tamer is to your
liking, go on a whale watch or explore some local caves. Golf
and tennis are nearby as well. |
The bed and breakfast is within easy, flat
walking distance to the Old Lahaina Luau, Wahikuli wayside
beach park, and the Lahaina Cannery Mall, where you can do
some shopping or catch a trolley for the one-mile ride to
downtown Lahaina and other places of interest on the island.
If you prefer to go by car, you can visit
the Lahaina Harbor, the Banyan Tree, and other historic sites
in Lahaina within five minutes.
Book a sunset dinner sail or make
reservations for one of the live theater shows -- the Maui
Myth and Magic Show "Ulalena" or Warren and
Annabelle's Magic Show.
Sit and watch the surfers and if you're
lucky, you might see a whale or two in the channel. Old
Lahaina is also packed with art galleries, unique shops, and
nightclubs. |
