Hale Luana is located between the towns of
Kilauea and Anahola on the northeast side of the island of
Kauai. Situated on a secluded hillside surrounded by grassy
meadows and horse pastures, the house is well off the beaten
path. The bed and breakfast is wonderfully private and
peaceful, with sweeping views of the ocean and mountains and
nestled in lush tropical gardens.
There are two comfortable, well-appointed
rooms available to guests -- the Allemanda Room
and the Awapuhi Room, each with a private bath
and private entrance from the guest lanai. Both rooms are
tastefully decorated in island-style fabrics, original
watercolors of local scenes and are equipped with color
television, VCRs, microwaves, coffeemakers, and other
amenities. Each room has been carefully designed to blend with
the surroundings, .... spectacular views out to the mountains
in one direction and the 50-foot natural swimming pool and the
ocean beyond in the other.
Each morning you will be served a full
breakfast on the guest lanai consisting of fresh fruit, juice,
beverage, and a breakfast entree such as waffles, omelet,
quiche, scones, shirred eggs, or whatever strikes your host's
fancy, along with whipped butter and island jam. Breakfast at
Hale Luana is guaranteed to hold you over through that long
hike.
Everyone knows what "Aloha"
means, and nowhere is its meaning truer than on the beautiful
garden island of Kauai. "Hale" means house, and "Luana"
means to be at leisure and enjoy pleasant surroundings. Your
hosts, Bob and Elizabeth Ferris, look forward to welcoming you
and will do their best to provide a "Hale Luana"
while the island of Kauai does the rest. |
Hale Luana is perfect for larger groups or
families who wish to rent the 5 bedroom / 5 bath home with
large lanau, great room and full kitchen.
Hale Luana is within minutes of basking
beaches and the cliffs at the Kilauea Lighthouse. Hiking
trails, riding stables, golf courses, and scuba diving
opportunities are all nearby. You might like to take a kayak
trip up the Hanalei River, view the fabulous Na Pali coast by
helicopter, visit the Botanical Gardens, take a stroll on the
beach, or just sit on the lanai with a good book and watch the
ever-changing cloud show over the ocean. You are also within
a short distance of historic Kapaa, Hanalei, and the
breathtaking resort of Princeville with its pristine golf
courses and amenities. |
