Many consider Kauai Hawaiis
most pristine island, and it is often called the Garden
Island for its cascading, flower strewn streams and
swaying palm fringed beaches. Lawai is on the sunny south side of
the island of Kauai, where a walk to a waterfall or a stroll
through a tropical forest reserve is all possible.
Lawai Beach is a
beautiful, white sand beach that is good for swimming and
snorkeling. The whole island of Kauai is small enough to easily be
able to visit all the major points of interest from your base at
Lawai Beach. The lush north shore is just a short drive and
includes the Napali Coast and the Kalalau Trail (popular with day
hikers and overnight campers.) Other north side attractions
include the Wet and Dry Caves of Haena, Hanalei Valley and Hanalei
Bay, the Kilauea Lighthouse and Kalihiwai Falls and the golf
courses of Princeville.
There are ten golf courses
located on the island, and other things to do include horseback
riding, swimming and diving, fishing and bird watching, kayaking,
dolphin and whale watching tours and backcountry adventures.
