Savannahs Bed & Breakfast Inn
(est. 1978) is one of the citys original B&B inns.
Housed on famous Gordon Row (circa 1853), and overlooking the
charming Chatham Square, the historic accommodation boasts
delicious southern breakfasts, afternoon tea socials, weekend
wine and cheese receptions, landscaped courtyard gardens, a
comfortable parlor area, and beautifully decorated guest
rooms.

Savannah first hand in one of the the inn's beautifully
decorated guest rooms. All accommodations include a private
bathroom, cable TV, wireless Internet, telephones, irons, and
air conditioning. Some accommodations offer two-room suites
and cottages with kitchenettes and living areas.

One of the high points of your stay at the
Bed and Breakfast Inn is the gourmet breakfast served each
morning. Menus vary from day to day. Some favorites may
include Omelets cooked to order served with Charlottes
famous pecan cornbread, Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and
dill with stone-ground grits and fresh buttermilk biscuits,
Pecan waffles with hot applewood smoked bacon and homemade
pecan syrup, Belgian waffles served with wild berry topping
and sausage links, Eggs Benedict, and Quiche Lorraine
Additionally a buffet of homemade granola and breakfast bread,
as well as cereal, yogurt, and fruit is also offered.
Each weekday (Sunday Thursday)
guests are invited to afternoon tea. Simple snacks baked by
the Chefs are served along with Georgia-style sweet tea.
Whether you are looking for a romantic
weekend getaway or just an affordable not so far from home

Savannah's Bed and Breakfast Inn is located
in the Southern region of the historic district, an easy walk
to any attraction in the Savannah downtown area. Nearby is the
Johnny Mercer house, Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House, and the best
antique shops in town.
This quiet retreat is only a 15 minute walk
to the shops and restaurants of the Riverwalk and a 2 minute
walk to Forsyth Park where you can take in the lush greenery
and visit the famous fountain and monuments.
Weekend (Friday & Saturday) guests are
invited to join a wine & cheese reception. Both red and
white wines are served along with creative cheese and cracker
dishes. This is a great chance to mingle with other guests,
hear a few tidbits about Savannahs rich and colorful
history, or browse through local menus before heading out for
