Cypress House Ranch Bed and Breakfast specializes in first-time bed and breakfast guests! Your hosts are casual and friendly, and many guests have said, "You're like visiting family without the family responsibilities." The log house has that old farm look, but it was built in 1990 and 1995 with your privacy in mind. 
Cypress House Ranch is a large log home in the gracious old Florida style, set in the midst of wooded farm land. Enjoy oak rockers on a wide wrap-around veranda looking out on moss hung oak trees. Here, you will find relaxed country lodging and cordial hospitality just minutes from I-75, Exit 309, just an hour north of the Tampa airport and one mile from the Florida National Cemetery. Cypress House Ranch is located on 10 acres of trees and grassy meadow. A mile of pasture, cows, horses and trees lie between the highway and Cypress House Ranch. You are welcome to walk this area and if you're lucky, you'll get to see some of the deer, sandhill crane, eagle and wild turkey that call this area home as well as a dairy goat herd, and lots of horses. Guest Accommodations: include three bedrooms in the main house and two bedrooms in the Pasture Wing. Guestrooms feature large, private baths with tiled, glass-door showers, and all are decorated in a simple country style with Berber carpeting, handmade quilts, and either handmade or Thomasville cherry furniture. Each room also provides a television and video player. The main house guest living room has a library of videos and DVD'savailable for guest choosing. Cypress House Ranch Bed and Breakfast offers serene country living in air conditioned comfort, where you can do as much or as little as your heart desires. |
Horseback Riding: The Cypress Horse Ranch Inc. offers horseback riding on trails in the nearby Withlacoochee Forest. The 16-20 ranch horses are calm and experienced trail horses suitable for both experienced and inexperienced, including school-age children. New riders are asked to view a video emphasizing horse safety and handling. The Cypress Horse Ranch Inc. has helmets available (required for children). Horses are usually available for petting and treats. |
