The Embassy Inn is a lovely haven of European charm in
the heart of Washington, D.C. Guests enjoy a warm,

The Embassy Inn dates back to 1910 and was originally
built as an eight-unit apartment house. In 1919, it was
renovated into a 30-room tourist hotel. Further renovation
in 1987 brought the Embassy Inn to its present state as a
38-room bed and breakfast hotel. The inn's moldings,
mosaic entrance titles, and marble stairway are original,
and its furnishings are simple and comfortable
reproduction antiques.
All The Embassy Inn's guestrooms have a private
bathroom, direct dial phone, digital alarm clock, cable
television with complimentary HBO, and daily maid service.
Each lodging accommodation is elegantly appointed, with
comfort in every detail. The front desk staff can assist
with dining, theater, sight-seeing, and transportation
information and arrangements throughout your stay. 24-hour
copy and fax service, daily copies of the Washington
Post, and complimentary evening sherry and snacks are
only a few examples of the Inn's commitment to its guests.
Start each morning with an expanded continental
breakfast to get you going for the day's activities. The
neighborhood includes the Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan
