Middlebury is located in
New Haven County between Watertown and Naugatuck. It is home to
Quassy Amusement Park, one of only 11 "trolley parks"
still operating today. The park features more than two dozen rides
and attractions, including The Saturation Station interactive
water play area. Quassy's sandy beach provides swimming in a
clean, spring-fed lake, perfect for cooling off on warm summer
days. |
Middlebury and its
surrounding areas offer many points of interest to the visiting
traveler, including state parks, museums, professional and
community theater, concerts, and historic sites. There are a
variety of opportunities close by for water sports, golf, indoor
and outdoor tennis, fishing, hunting, hiking, and of course winter
sports, such as skiing. |
