Chocolate-Banana Coffee Cake

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup margarine, softened

4 mashed ripe bananas

1/2 cup sour cream

2 eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Filling

1 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 Tablespoons melted margarine

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix all filling ingredients together and set aside.

Beat sugar and margarine in large bowl until fluffy. Stir in bananas, sour cream and eggs. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Spoon half of batter into 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle with half of filling. Spoon remaining batter over filling. Sprinkle with remaining filling. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned on top and knife comes out clean when inserted into center.
