Ingredients

2 packages yeast

1/2 cup warm water

1/2 cup warm milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted

1 teaspoon salt

4 cups flour

1/4 cup margarine, melted

Cinnamon/sugar mixture

1/2 cup margarine, melted

1/2 cup sugar

2 teaspoon cinnamon

Icing

3 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 Tablespoons milk

Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large non-metal bowl. Add milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup margarine or butter, salt, and 2 cups flour. Stir well. Add remaining flour and knead slightly, forming a ball.

Grease large non-metal bowl. Put dough in bowl, then turn over so side with grease is now up. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and put in a warm place until doubled, about 1-1/2 hours.

Roll dough out to 12 x 18-inch rectangle. Spread with 1/4 cup margarine or butter. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Roll up lengthwise. Cut into 8 pieces. Place in greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Cover with towel and place in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until golden on tops and edges. Combine icing ingredients while rolls are baking. Let rolls cool slightly, then frost with icing.

Makes: 8 rolls
