Rocky Mountain Lodge and Cabins

Located in the small mountain community of Cascade, CO, Rocky Mountain Lodge is just 6 miles west of Colorado Springs, 5 miles west of Manitou Springs, and 6 miles east of Woodland Park, in the historic Ute Pass of the Rocky Mountains. The Lodge is a rustic, elegant log home surrounded by a grove of scrub oaks and lilac bushes on 2-1/2 treed acres with beautiful mountain views. The Cabin and Cottage are on their own property just down the street from the Lodge and have commanding mountain views as well.

The Great Room, with 16-foot ceilings, includes the famous seven-point elk, Prince Albert, who graces the fireplace (ask about the story when you check in). It is constructed of log siding, oak hardwood floors, and knotty pine interior for a true "lodge" look and feel. A gazebo, horseshoes, and hot tub and also on the property. Wireless Internet is available throughout the property.

Accommodations
The Lodge has six uniquely furnished rooms, each with a private bath, queen-size bed, and cable TV/VCR, and some have private balconies and sitting benches. The Luxury Suite has its own sitting room, whirlpool air massage tub for two, oversized two-person body spray shower, fireplace, microwave, mini refrigerator, and coffee maker. Breakfast can be served ensuite.

The Cabin is a true log-hewn cabin built in 1909. It has two bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed, the second with a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top), and a living room with fireplace, cable TV/VCR, and queen-size sofa bed. The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped. There is also a bathroom, carport, and private patio with beautiful mountain views. The Cabin will sleep seven people.

The Cottage, built in 1938 with stone and wood, has such charm! There are two stories. Downstairs is a kitchen, dining area, day bed that opens to a king-size bed or two twins, and a bathroom. Upstairs is a bedroom/sitting room suite with a cable TV/VCR, queen-size bed, and a queen-size sofa bed. The Cottage will sleep six people.

Both the Cabin and Cottage come completely furnished, including bedding, towels, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. The kitchens in both lodgings have stoves, microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers; the cabin also has a dishwasher. All you need is your clothes, toiletries, and food!

Relax in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the beautiful foothill mountains by day and the western stars by night. Snuggle up by the massive rock fireplace in the evening while nibbling on the decadent nightly dessert, served either out on the terrace or in the Great Room. Enjoy an afternoon snack, and come with an appetite for the spectacular three-course breakfast each morning.

Entire lodge rental is available for family reunions, business meetings, weddings, and retreats. The lodge will sleep 17-plus people and can host approximately 40 people for private functions.
