Bordering on Roosevelt National Forest,
Sundance Trail Guest Ranch is nestled amid the beauty of
stately pines and whispering aspen groves in the heart of
mountain country. At an elevation of 8,000 feet, the days are
warm and filled with sunshine while the cool nights are
perfect for sitting around a crackling fire or sleeping under
a warm comforter.
Cozy, Relaxing, Heartwarming... Sundance
Ranch offers lodge and cabin suites for up to seven families
or twenty-four guests. The lodge with a moss rock fireplaces
are a warm welcome after an active day. The lodge and
adjoining decks are an inviting place for a fresh cup of
coffee, reading, cards, conversation and just plain enjoying
the view.
Riding on endless mountain trails is the
principle activity at Sundance Trail. "So put on your
boots and head on down to the corral where the experienced
wranglers will match you with one of our fine western horses."
The horse that suits you best will be yours throughout your
stay. Instruction is available to all guests, from the
inexperienced rider to those wishing to improve their skills.
Trail riding is done in small groups led by friendly wranglers
who love the West.

The summer Dude Ranch Family
Vacations are weeks full of activity balanced with
moments of quiet: from late May until mid-September.

Colorado Rocky Mountains on a ranch horse matched to
your skill level; your horse for the week (some folks
have been riding the same horse for five or six years!),
