Two side-by-side historic Victorian homes, both on the
National Registry of Historic Places, house this urban bed and
breakfast Inn, first of its kind in Denver. The larger of the
Victorians was built in 1879 for Edwin Pierce, brother of
Augusta Tabor, a pioneering Colorado woman. The adjacent 1886
Victorian was built for DeWitt Roberts, Denver educator, mine
owner, and co-founder of Ordway, Colorado. This Denver Bed and
Breakfast has been hosting travelers since 1987.
Dear Chris and Dave - Wanted to
let you know how much I enjoyed my stay at your wonderful inn
- since I was still suffering from jetlag, the peace and quiet
was exactly what I needed (the morning bath was a treat too).
Next time I'll make it a longer visit. Best holiday wishes-
Pam, Florida, USA
There are fourteen guest accommodations, including four
gallery suites dedicated to famous artists Audubon, Calder,
Remington, and Rockwell. Fresh flowers, chamber music, period
antiques, direct-dial phones, and private baths are in all
rooms. Eight of the bathrooms have special deep tubs or jet
tubs/showers, and two guestrooms each have a fireplace. The
Inn is air-conditioned. There is free parking and no tipping.
For business travelers, the phones are modem-ready with dual
jacks, and now there is a wireless hub.
A hospitable stay in one of the
friendliest and helpful B&B homes on the continent. Tom
should be proud of his staff, and thank you Tom for the
opportunity to share this time with you. Will recommend the
Queen Anne in our Vancouver travels. Tony
& Marilyn, Vancouver, Canada
A full breakfast and evening beverage hours are included.
The Bed and Breakfast Inn faces a quiet park at the east end
of downtown Denver, within walking distance of the Capitol,
16th Street Pedestrian Mall, theaters, restaurants, business
offices, convention center, Larimer Square, Pepsi Center, and
Coors baseball stadium. Knowledgeable innkeepers will suggest
seeing-doing-shopping in and around Denver, make restaurant
reservations, and arrange area tours, sports activities, or a
horse-drawn carriage ride to dinner downtown.
Our first visit to a B&B and
we are hooked. A great end to our trip of skiing and no kids,
the Aspen room is so warm and comfortable. We enjoyed
ourselves ever so much. Glenda and Paul, Des Moines, Iowa
