Carole's Bed and Breakfast is listed by the city of San Diego as an "historical treasure." The gracious entrance with it's lovely arbor and stately American flag makes its welcome known to many visitors to the seaside town of San Diego.

Each of the spacious guest accommodations has a color television, and is decorated comfortably with patchwork quilts, antiques, and period wall decorations. Guests will appreciate the pride Carole takes in her clean home. In addition, Carole's offers two spacious garden apartments with private baths and kitchenettes that are perfect for longer stays. A large two-bedroom apartment with private bath, living room, dining area and full kitchen and a one-bedroom house are also available.

The handsome craftsman style architecture is evident in the dining room with built in cupboards holding Carole's extensive collection of china and glassware. A big, family-style table occupies the center of the room where Carole serves a generous continental breakfast of seasonal fruit, hot coffee or teas, and Michael's freshly baked bread, warm from the oven.

Overlooking the large pool is a deck and a patio area. The inviting common rooms are nicely furnished with soft sofas and plenty of room for curling up with a good book or watching a favorite movie on TV. A piano is also available for those in a music-making mood.

Carole's Bed and Breakfast Inn is located within a short driving distance to many San Diego sights including downtown. She has a diverse clientele including visiting foreign students from the nearby language school. This is a perfect selection for anyone wanting a nice, homey atmosphere in central San Diego at a very reasonable price.
