All through history, wine has been the symbol of
hospitality. Fashioned after the inns of New England, The Wine
Country Inn St. Helena, California was designed and is
operated as an integral part of one of the truly great
wine-producing areas of the world. Situated high atop a scenic
knoll, the bed and breakfast inn affords panoramic views of
the Napa Valley, fresh air, and a rarified atmosphere in which
to sit back and relax.
Combining the old and the new, all guest rooms are
individually decorated with country antique furnishings and
lovely, fresh colors reflecting the seasonal moods of the Napa
Valley. Each lodging accommodation has its own private bath,
and most of the inn's guestrooms, suites and cottages are
oriented to rural views, many overlooking nearby vineyards.
Some rooms have patios gracefully surrounded by lawns and
privacy landscaping. Other rooms have intimate balconies and
most offer working fireplaces. To extend the feeling of
country tranquility, you won't find a television in your room.
A beautiful swimming pool overlooking the vineyards and hot
whirlpool that have quickly become a social gathering spot for
informal picnics and evening cocktails.
A full buffet breakfast is served to guests each morning
that may include assorted bagels, homemade breads and goodies,
egg casserole, granola and fresh fruit and juices.
After a busy day of visiting wineries, sightseeing, and
recreation or even a lazy day of relaxation, enjoy soothing
and relaxing spa treatments and massages in the comfort of
your room. You may choose from a variety of spa treatments
designed exclusively for the guests of The Wine Country Inn,
including aromatherapy massages, facials, scalp treatments,
body wraps, and couples massage.
Your hosts at The Wine Country Inn would like to extend a
warm welcome to wine lovers, to weary travelers, and to those
who seek out a peaceful haven. |
The Napa Valley is paradise to wine lovers with award
winning wineries throughout the valley that offer tours,
tastings, and shops.
Visitors to the wine country enjoy many activities other
than wine tasting. The manicured, agricultural beauty of the
Napa Valley contrasts with the rugged, tree-covered hills
surrounding it. Century-old stone bridges, pump houses, barns,
and rock buildings afford artists and photographers a wide
variety of subjects. Within an easy drive of The Wine Country
Inn you'll find tennis courts, hot air balloon rides, mineral
baths, and several Robert Louis Stevenson memorial sites.
Most guests enjoy a simple stroll down a country lane,
throwing stones in the Napa River, or curling up with a good
book in one of the Inn's alcove beds. There are a number of
antique shops in the area, over twenty excellent restaurants
serving luncheon and dinner.
Unlike most lodging facilities, The Wine Country Inn is not
on a busily trafficked highway, providing you a little peace
in the country. |
