• Accommodations: Guest rooms with private bath, and rooms with shared bath. Fireplaces in all rooms. Garden View and Shangra La have Jacuzzi tubs for two. Five rooms have balconies with million-dollar views of lush valley and vineyards. There are balconies, HBO (dish only), hot tub, fireplaces, and grand piano. See room descriptions and rates.
• Rates: Rates show base rate and do not show the 12% tax. Rates are subject to change without notice.

  Minimum stay is 2 nights on Fridays and Saturdays and 3 nights on holidays.

• Check-in: after 3:00 p.m. Check-out: 12:00 noon.
• Payment: First and last nights' stay required as deposit; must be sent within 5 days of making reservation. Personal cash and checks accepted; sorry, no credit cards.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week prior to scheduled arrival date notice for refund of deposit, less a $20.00 cancellation fee (non-refundable). First and last night deposit sent 5 days from booking will hold the reservation. Please call the morning of arrival to reconfirm.
• Restrictions: No smoking indoors. Pet friendly -- $10.00 per dog per night (bring bedding; large outdoor kennels also available; 2 very friendly dogs on premises). Children welcome but rooms have only one bed each. Drinking is allowed.
• Breakfast: Continental breakfast served on weekends only from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Special Events at the Inn: Small weddings or conferences of 12 people or less.
• Recreation & Activities: Swimming pool, hiking, canoeing, trampoline, fishing (private pond stocked with black bass, catfish, and blue gill), and hot tub on premises. Nearby are tennis, golf, water-skiing on Lake Berryessa 45 minutes away, glider and balloon rides, and bike rental.
• Attractions & Special Events: Wineries, spas, Old Faithful geyser, Petrified Forest, Fourth of July fair, sprint car racing, and mud baths in Calistoga.
• Recommended Local Restaurant: There are 21 excellent local restaurants.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Glider rides and unique shopping.
• Directions: Hillcrest is located 2 miles north of Calistoga on Highway 29. As you start to climb Mt. Helena towards Middletown and Clearlake, take the first driveway on the left just after the big horseshoe turn. There are 2 stone pillars, and a winding road leads up to a gray house on the hill. There is a small lake down below.
