Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
4 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 teaspoons snipped fresh lemon balm or 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded lemon zest
6 to 8 cups fresh berries - a mix of several kinds
Fresh lemon balm sprigs (optional) or mint leaves

Combine honey, balsamic vinegar, and lemon zest. Place fresh berries in individual compote dishes. Drizzle with sauce (about 1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons) and garnish with mint sprigs.

Serves: 12 to 14
