Nestled among some of the finest wineries in the Napa
Valley Wine Country, Shady Oaks Country Inn is a unique
bed and breakfast retreat of elegance and hospitality.
Secluded on two acres of shady oaks and walnut trees,
the property boasts two beautifully kept buildings: a
1920's craftsman home and an 1880's winery. Located just
two miles south of St. Helena, the quiet acres invite an
ambiance of tranquility and relaxation. |

Upon arrival, premium wines and cheeses are served in a
fireplaced parlor or on the Roman pillared patio covered with
100-year-old wisteria. Enjoy the company of others while
reviewing the collection of restaurant menus in the area or
have a bottle of wine in the privacy of your own room. As you
unlock the door to the room of your choice, you will be
invited in by carefully selected antique furnishings. The
old-fashioned room is fresh and immaculate, with plants, cut
flowers and all your comforts in mind. Each recently
redecorated guest room is as sought after as the next, each
for different reasons. Three of the rooms have fireplaces for
snuggling by on a chilly night. All the lodging accommodations
offer private baths, fine linens and attention to the little
things. Three of the five rooms are in the main house, and two
are in the winery building. Both rooms in the winery building
have private entrances, a intimate sitting area and balcony
access overlooking the vineyards. Enjoy other amenities
including TV's with satellite in every guestroom and the Inn's
high-speed WiFi Internet.
Awaken to the aroma of the inn's own blend of coffee. A full
gourmet champagne breakfast is served daily either in the
intimate fireside dining parlor, the lavish pillared patio or
the privacy of your own room. Known as " the best
breakfast in Napa Valley", this morning meal entertains
to all tastebuds, from the scrumptious Eggs Benedict to the
sumptuous Belgian waffles or stuffed French toast. If you are
a light morning eater, your delicate tastes will be satisfied
on home-baked breads, croissants "to die for" and
fresh fruits with a large selection of teas, fresh juices and
champagne. |
A day in the Napa Valley has much to offer from a hot air
balloon ride to antique shopping; the magic of Napa Valley

surrounding the Inn. Wine tasting and winery tours are a must.
The Valley's unequaled in its fine dining and casual
restaurants. Take the day to play some tennis or play golf
