The Inn is surrounded by lush rose gardens, rhododendrons, azaleas, fountains, koi ponds, and ancient cypress trees. The home has been carefully restored to reflect its graceful past in this graceful town of Healdsburg which is located along the Russian River.

The large covered front porch with wicker furniture and porch swing is a perfect spot for relaxing. Inside, the elegant yet comfortable antiques and hand silk-screened Victorian wall and ceiling papers produce a welcoming environment. In the cooler months, sit by the fire and play a game or read a favorite book.

Six beautiful, air-conditioned rooms are richly appointed with queen beds, down comforters, fine linens, and beautiful antiques. All rooms have ample seating with plush window seats or overstuffed chairs. Each has a private bath with claw foot tub-shower, whirlpool bath, or tiled shower. Additional amenities include seasonal robes, make-up mirrors, CD player/clock radios, bottled water, hair dryers, irons and boards.

Calderwood is a short 3 block walk to the Healdsburg Plaza where you will find antique shops, boutiques, theaters, and wonderful restaurants. Over 150 wineries are within minutes of the Inn. In addition to wine tasting, the Russian River and Lake Sonoma offer opportunities for swimming, water sports and hiking. Beautiful redwoods and ocean beaches are 30 to 45 minutes away, and golf and tennis are nearby.
