• Landis Shores is located in the 6-mile Coast Side Trail, which extends into Half Moon Bay. Hike, walk, or bike along the dramatic bluffs.
• Take the Montara Mountain Trail for an inland-to-coastline walk.
• Another beautiful hike is the Purisima Creek Trail, which leads to the majestic redwood groves and year-'round creek of the Purisima Redwood Preserve.
• Watch the migration of the California Gray Whale from December to April as they make their journey to the Baja Peninsula. Boating or airplane tours available.

• Visit Año Nuevo State Reserve to watch the elephant seals in their natural habitat.
• Pillar Point Harbor offers more than just surfing and boat building; the water is so pure that abalone is farmed within the boundaries of the breakwater. Shop Pillar Point Harbor for the fresh catch of the day.
