Overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Little
River Bay, this Mendocino bed and breakfast and vacation
rental complex on the breathtaking Northern California
Coast is famous for its boundless hospitality, lavish
gourmet breakfasts and snacks, romantic seaside setting,
and warm French country décor.
There is a variety of lodging
accommodations
at Auberge Mendocino, making the Inn a wonderful choice
for reunions, weddings, and meetings. Bed and breakfast
rooms and suites, each with private bath, are divided
among three buildings: a romantic French country inn and
two wonderful cottages. Enjoy luxurious amenities such as
gas and wood-burning fireplaces, featherbeds, fine linens,
whirlpool tubs, glass showers for two, wet bars, and
balconies.
An oceanview vacation rental home is
also available. Little River Cottage, a charming
two-bedroom abode, is perfect for a honeymoon or a quiet,
restful, and peaceful retreat for groups of five or fewer.
Bed and breakfast guests will enjoy a
complimentary breakfast each morning between 8:00 and
10:00 a.m. (or earlier by special request) in the dining
room of the la Maison. Coffee is available in the kitchen
by 7:30 a.m. All breakfast meals include fresh fruit of
the season, juices, home-baked pastries, a made-to-order
entree, and beverage. Special dietary needs are happily
accommodated. Vacation rental guests staying at Little
River Cottage may choose to take breakfast at the Inn by
prior arrangement at an additional charge.
Just 10 miles up scenic Highway One is
Noyo Harbor and Fort Bragg. This fishing port, art and
handicraft center, and former logging town offers a
multitude of activities, including the famous Skunk Train.
Plan a day to take the train through the redwoods, explore
Glass Beach, take a whale watch or fishing trip, visit the
Botanical Gardens, and explore the historic downtown. |

While at the Inn, walk to the beach or to
the cliff's edge for spectacular ocean vistas, read in the
beautiful gardens, or enjoy a massage in your room. If you
want to explore beyond the bed and breakfast, Auberge
Mendocino borders two oceanfront California State Parks. Whale
watching, hiking, water sports, and acres of wildflowers are
just outside your door. Spa services, golf, fishing, horseback
riding, canoeing, kayaking, galleries, and restaurants begin
across the street and are all within a two-mile radius.
Historic Mendocino Village is three minutes away.
Whatever your desire -- privacy, exploring,
or just kicking back - the staff will make your Northern
California vacation dreams a reality. Visiting Auberge
Mendocino is a wonderful Pacific Coast experience you'll never
forget. |
