The quaint village of
Trinidad is just to the south of Redwood National Park that boasts
40 miles of coastline and 106,000 acres of protected redwoods
where elk herds are often encountered roaming the park lands.
Five miles to the south, Big Lagoon is an important resting
and feeding site for thousands of birds and Trinidad State Beach
and the Trinidad Head trail provide wonderful hiking and coastline
scenery. |
