This small island
town in the San Diego Bay, approximately 7.4 square miles in size,
connected to the City of San Diego by the San Diego-Coronado
Bridge and to the City of Imperial Beach to the south by State
Highway 75. The town is the neighbor of Naval Base Coronado which
includes Naval Air Station North Island, home port for two
aircraft carriers and the Naval Amphibious Base where the elite
SEALS are trained. |
