Luxury Bay Area Bed and
Breakfast Inn
Originally built in 1895 as a traditional English estate in
California's lovely Marin County, the Gerstle Park Inn is
considered a highlight of San Rafael's Historic Homes Walking
Tour.
One of the first settlements in the area, the mansions,
cottages, and grounds from an enchanted retreat nestled into
the hills overlooking San Rafael. Only 20 minutes from the
Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, and Oakland, Gerstle Park
is an exciting and charming alternative to standard hotel
fare.
The Gerstle Park Inn provides charmingly elegant and
spacious accommodations reminiscent of a bygone era. Guests at
the Inn stay in luxurious private suites, beautifully and
uniquely decorated and furnished with antiques. Room amenities
include parlor areas, private decks, bathrobes, fine linens,
cable television with VCR, steam irons with hair dryers, dual
line telephones, and voice mail. There is a luxury suite with
a Jacuzzi and steam bath for guests who want only the best.
A limited number of one-bedroom apartments with full
kitchens are available for extended stays. Visitors on
business trips will also be glad to know the Inn offers a
conference room and business services, included pickup at the
Marin Airporter and the Larkspur Ferry Terminals. In addition,
the Concierge will be more than happy to assist you in
obtaining anything from dry-cleaning to theater tickets, as
well as scheduling tours of the surrounding area.
All guests at Gerstle Park receive a full, complimentary
breakfast, served in the dining room or veranda each morning,
weather permitting. In the evening, complimentary wine is also
served. Meals can be provided for corporate meetings, and the
Inn has also made arrangements with a variety of local
restaurants and delivery services. |
Surrounded by acres of gardens and miles of spectacular
trails, adjacent to picnic areas and tennis courts, this
bucolic haven will set your mind at ease and refresh your
soul. All the exciting world-famous attractions of Northern
California's San Francisco Bay Area, including Napa and Sonoma
Wine Country to the north and San Francisco to the south are
close by. Other attractions in the immediate area include
spectacular California redwood forests, including the stately
Muir Woods. Mill Valley, San Rafael, Tiburon, and Sausalito
are charming wandering around places. |
