Originally built in 1895 as a traditional
English estate in California's lovely Marin County, the
Gerstle Park Inn is considered a highlight of San Rafael's
Historic Homes Walking Tour. One of the first settlements in
the area, the mansions, cottages, and grounds from an
enchanted retreat nestled into the hills overlooking San
Rafael.
The Gerstle Park Inn provides charmingly
elegant and spacious accommodations reminiscent of a bygone
era. Guests at the Inn stay in luxurious private suites,
beautifully and uniquely decorated and furnished with
antiques. Room amenities include parlor areas, private decks,
bathrobes, fine linens, cable television with VCR, steam irons
with hair dryers, dual line telephones, and voice mail. There

with full kitchens are available for extended stays. Visitors
on business trips will also be glad to know the Inn offers a
conference room and business services, included pickup at the
Marin Airporter and the Larkspur Ferry Terminals. In addition,
the Concierge will be more than happy to assist you in
obtaining anything from dry-cleaning to theater tickets, as
well as scheduling tours of the surrounding area.
All guests at Gerstle Park receive a full,

each morning, weather permitting. In the evening,
complimentary wine is also served. Meals can be provided for
