Apple Pizza

Ingredients:

2 cups flour, sifted

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup shortening

1/2 cup water

Topping A:

4 to 5 apples - peeled, sliced, and cored

1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar

1 Tablespoon cinnamon

Topping B:

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup margarine

1/3 cup sugar

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Mix as for pastry. Roll out on floured board to a 21-inch circle. Gently lift dough to a 21-inch pizza pan; flute edges.

Combine and arrange Topping A ingredients on pizza dough base. Combine Topping B ingredients to form a crumbly mixture. Put Topping B over Topping A. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, turn oven down to 400 degrees, and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.

Serves: 12 to 14
