teaching garden, "preserve, enhance, educate, and inspire."

Festival

with the staging of over 20,000 Pacific Black Brant Geese to the

11th Annual Fire and Ice
Professional and amateur carvers from North America gather
on the streets of downtown Qualicum Beach for an ice carving
competition. Watch as huge blocks of ice are transformed into
amazing works of art! The 'fire' can be sampled at the many
chili booths staggered among the carvers. Businesses and
community groups vying for the coveted "Peoples Choice
Award" prepare gallons and gallons of chili. It's a day
full of fun, food, and loads of street musicians and performers.

Parksville Beach
Festival

Sand Sculpting Competition. Teams and soloists have 14 hours to
