Raisin Bread Pudding and Apples

Ingredients

4 cups raisin bread, torn into pieces

1 cup apples (peeled, cored, and cubed)

3/4 cup milk

4 eggs

2 Tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Layer bread pieces and apples in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Beat together the remaining ingredients and pour over apple-bread mixture. Put the dish in a large pan. Pour boiling water halfway up the sides of the dish. Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the pudding comes clean.
