Journal magazine in the March 2002 issue. Located northwest of
Phoenix in the northern reaches of the great southwest Sonoran
Desert, Wickenburg is noted for its clean air, good country
living, western hospitality and all-around high quality of life.
It is the Dude Ranch
Capital of Arizona with ranches that still offer a unique Western
experience ranging from a cozy adobe hacienda to a modern ranch

Santa Fe Steam Locomotive, Wishing Well of "Hassayamper"
legend, Desert Caballeros Western Museum and Museum Park -
considered one of the best museums in Arizona, and Jail Tree - a
200-year-old mesquite tree that once served as the town jail.
