Cochise Stronghold Bed and Breakfast may very well be the perfect western nature destination. The retreat offers three separate accommodations ranging from a luxury suite, a small ranch house and an elegant tipi to satisfy several different lodging needs. All accommodations include access to the hot tub and library.

The Agave Suite and the large Casita Manzanita offer fully equipped kitchens for a more independent lodging stay. Both have outdoor patios for BBQ and outdoor dining. The bathrooms have showers and tubs. The Tipi is more secluded and adventurous. It offers comfortable sleeping beds, a Franklin wood stove in the middle of the structure and an outdoor heated shower and camp toilet. Outdoor cooking is available for this lodging and indoor bathroom at the B&B is also available.

After you wake, you will enjoy a fabulous breakfast served to you in your room. The menu may include items such as blueberry buttermilk pancakes, sweet pepper frittata, Greek style quiche, deep dish chili relleno casserole, mesquite bacon, apple crumble, and cinnamon cranberry or orange sticky buns. Specialties also include a variety of fruit smoothies such as strawberry, peach, mango and pineapple-coconut.

The Cochise Stronghold Canyon area provides vacationers with plenty of opportunities for fun, as well as a great outdoor experience. Take a hike on one of the many outdoor trails and experience nature at its' finest. Guiding is offered in natural history, bird watching and rock climbing.

View the area's wildlife as they roam through the country-side and soar in the skies. Spend a day touring the caverns at Kartchner Caverns State Park or visit the Ghost Town of Pearce, also known as Old Pearce. Don't forget to spend a day browsing the many shops in the historic western towns of Tombstone and Bisbee, where you can find a wide variety of western wear and hats and old-time taverns.

The Cochise Stronghold is much more than just a B&B ... it is a complete retreat where you can relax in a serene setting with hosts that know the healing power of nature. Innkeeper John Yates, noted author and massage therapist, along with other therapists offer massage therapy, spa treatments, bodywork and Reiki.
