• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notice must be received at least 1 week (7 days) prior to scheduled arrival for return of deposit minus a $25.00 cancellation fee. If cancellations made less than 7 days and we are unable to rebook the room, one nights lodging will be charged.
• Check-in: 1:00 p.m. and after. Check-out: 10:00 a.m.
• Restrictions: Smoking is permitted outdoors. Sorry, no pets. We welcome children with well-behaved adults!
• Spoken Languages: Spanish and English.
• Recommended Favorite Recipes: Dijon Bacon Egg Casserole, ... Blueberry Coffeecake, and Carmelized French Toast
• Breakfast: Rates include a full hearty buffet served in the the dining room every morning.
• Special Events at Inn: Small events. The Folk Center Weekend package includes admission to the Ozark Folk Center, which features great mountain music and showcases local artisans making soap, quilts, brooms, knives, and other Ozark crafts. The 2-night Romantic Getaway package comes with chocolates, a rose, and a wonderful dinner for two. Weddings for Two package available.
• Recreation & Activities: Fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, picnicking, mountain biking, and spelunking nearby.
• Attractions & Special Events: Ozark Folk Center, Blanchard Springs Caverns, and Buffalo River. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Folk musicians perform on the square and occasionally on the Inn's front porch.
• Recommended Local Restaurants: Jo-Jo's Catfish Wharf - Hwy 5 (6 miles north of town), The Rainbow Cafe - Main Street (for lunch), Tommy's Famous Pizza, and Dogwood Hollow Steakhouse.
• Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Mountain View City Park -- just lovely and is just about 1/2 mile from the Inn (a pleasant walk) -- and visiting Leon Jennings at his basket shop -- he makes beautiful baskets from split white oak trees.
