The Craftsman-styled Wildflower Bed and
Breakfast is located on the historic court square of a little
Ozark town considered to be the folk music capital of the
world.
Folk and bluegrass musicians from all over
perform in the Court Square in Mountain View, Arkansas as well
as in a variety of indoor music theaters. The Wildflower Bed
and Breakfast is just steps away from a lively shopping
district and numerous restaurants offering all sorts of tasty
fare.
Originally built as a hotel in 1918,
Wildflower Bed and Breakfast now lists on the National
Register of Historic Places and accommodates guests with three
suites and three rooms, each with an in-room private bath and
all beautifully and comfortably decorated with antiques and
reproduction furnishings. Each room has cable TV, CD player,
spa robes, and luxury bath amenities. Wireless Internet access
is also available throughout the inn.
Lodging accommodations range from the light
drenched Foxglove Room with a queen-size bed
and a nice, big bath to the Dogwood Suite.
This lovely two-bedroom, two-bath suite sleeps up to five, or
offers a cozy sitting room between the two sleeping rooms. Ask
your innkeepers about their Wildflower packages, which combine
accommodations with special activities and amenities.
A sun-filled dining room is where guests
enjoy a bountiful buffet breakfast which has prompted the Arkansas
Democrat Gazette to describe it as "hearty enough to
make guests believe one meal a day may be sufficient."
Enjoy homebaked afternoon snacks while rocking your cares away
on the wraparound porch.
Come back home in the evening to Wildflower
Bed and Breakfast - on the Square, where a comfortable
atmosphere mixes with true southern hospitality.
