Ingredients:

1 pear (peeled and halved)

1 Tablespoon butter

1 Tablespoon honey

1 pinch nutmeg

1 Tablespoon heavy cream

Melt 1 Tablespoon of butter, per pear, in a baking dish. Peel, core, and halve pears (Anjou preferably). Place pear halves in baking dish that just holds them, core side down. Drizzle with honey, 1 Tablespoon per pear. Grate a pinch of fresh nutmeg on each pear half. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and spoon 1 Tablespoon of heavy cream over each pear half. Return to oven for 15 minutes. Serve pears with sauce spooned over top.
