A private, two-bedroom cottage in the heart of downtown
Eureka Springs, this turn-of the-century kit
Victorian was all the rage as a miniature version of the
popular house style of the time. The first company to develop
these mail order homes was Aladdin, and the Cricket Cottage is
a prime example of their handiwork. Offering a comfortable
area of space, this Eureka Springs cabin features hardwood
floors, stained glass, and eclectic antiques. |

Resting at the end of a private driveway in the woods, this
circa 1906 Eureka Springs cottage is secluded and private, yet
only a 15-minute stroll to downtown. Deer and songbirds
frequent a natural spring viewed from the porch. An excellent
example of a Victorian era kit home, the Buchman's
design was created by Aladdin -- the first American company to
make Mail Order Homes. Fun Fact: The cottage's bay window was
an extra and quite a fancy one for such a small
cottage!
