Game Day Chili

Our nephew, Dr. Dave Riley and his wife, Rhonda, serve this dish quite often on game days or game nights, as they have three active boys. If they are anything like their dad when he was a young boy there will be many games to attend!

Ingredients Cake

2 ounds ground chuck

4 gloves garlic minced

1 onion

2 cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained

Three 8-ounce cans tomato sauce

One 12-ounce bottle dark beer

One 14-1/2 - ounce can beef broth

One 6-ounce can chopped green chilies

2 Tablespoons chili powder

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 to 2 teaspoons ground red pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon hot sauce

Cook first 3 ingredients over medium heat, stirring until meat crumbles. Combine meat mixture, beans and next 11 ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 3 hours.
